iBurst, you suck!
Can you imagine getting a threatening sms, about being blacklisted knowing very well you don’t owe that party any cent.
Exactly at 15h00, yesterday I got the shock of my life from iBurst/TransUnion:
“You have been handed over to TransUnion RM by iBurst (PTY) LTD balance R1,932.00, REF 09071147861. Please contact 0861 425 5742”
I flipped, wasted my energy going through files to backup my claim before making a call to them that I paid all their monies ages ago and I don’t owe them a cent. While busy searching for my docs I decided to call iBurst directly and not the TransUnion number provided on the sms to vent my anger at them knowing I have all the proof of payment.
Spoke to one Patience Bukula, Credit Controller- accounts collection who confirmed that I don’t owe them anything, it was a mistake on their side. What annoyed me a lot is that I had to call them before accepting that its their mistake instead of making a follow-up to that threatening sms with an apology…only after having expressed my disgust they then make a follow-up apology below:
