I’ve not entirely been feeling the current theme I’m using for my soccer blog which hasn’t been living to its promise. A few things that it failed to deliver includes:
1) Published content doesn’t reflect the date when it was posted.
2) The email feedburner link, doesn’t work.
3) Very limited side bar widgets.
4) Cannot preview draft posts.
With the new look The Original Premium News Theme, I’ll add a leader board banner above the logo, a long banner below the headline of each story published and the email Feedburner subscription icon at the bottom of each story.
This theme, has various elements which are currently not available on the Personal BlogTheme which costs $47, while The Original Premium News Theme is free of charge.
This has been a lesson to me to stop rushing into buying a wordpress theme before comparing what’s on offer from the various theme vendors. I’ll be updating the rest of my blogs including this blog with the The Original Premium News Theme.
