Soccerwires.com secures anchor blogger
I’ve been in search for an anchor blogger to be responsible for generating original content for soccerwires.com and have finally secured the services of talented Lennox Nhando. He has vast experience as a copywriter with various blue chip companies under his belt and now a freelancer.
Soccerwires.com will be about the business affairs of soccer clubs within the PSL, all matters not normally reported about in daily media. From each team’s office setup to the training ground, player’s welfare and all other related matters.
As a new blog, starting from a zero bank balance, my strategy of ensuring the blog gains popularity within a short space of time amongst readers, will be to employ a bit of controversy in our reporting. This is intended to create hype about this new kid on the block, for it to become a talk of the town, which in return will gain readership. Though this kind of controversy is not intended to land the blog in court, since that is a road I cannot afford.
Have also identified a wordpress theme (will be using it for most of my new blogs for its simplicity) for the blog and will be tweaking it by adding a leader board banner above logo, also add a square banner on the detailed page and another square banner on the side bar.
Currently busy with the search of soccer relate affiliate programs which I’ll incorporate into the blog as part of my revenue stream besides the google adsense.
The blog will focus on the below topics, giving it a theme for each week day:
Money & Finance
Media & Technology
Marketing & Sponsorships
Stadiums & Facilities
Training & Medical
Club CEO’s & Managers
