Spa treatments, more please!
Am a fairly new entrant to the world of spa therapy…having had my third treatment yesterday.
Before I associated this kind of experience as the domain of ladies and to my surprise I can’t get enough of it.
As a city dweller, am exposed to all sorts of stress related activities, workload etc. It is always a welcome break to venture into the world of peace and relaxation where someone takes care of your body.
Would strongly recommend this type of relaxation to all the black brothers out there who think this kind of treatment is only meant for ladies…you’ll be hooked I promise.
My take with the three spas I’ve visited:
1) Mangwanani (8/10)
The entire setup is well structured, outside the rooms a prominent water feature soothes the soul in time of need. Located within Indaba Hotel in Fourways.
The ladies giving the massage are well trained.
2) Mount Grace Spa (7/10)
Similar setup to Mangwanani, though a bit smaller. Great treatment with well trained personel. Located within Mount Grace Country House & Spa in Magaliesberg.
3) Onewellness Spa (9/10)
Built within a highrise, located on a tenth floor of Radisson Hotel (Sandton). I rate this facility highly based on the experience I received which was intense compared to the other spa treatments. The back massage was just unstoppable.
Though the facility does not have a water feature like the others, their staff members are just on top of their game.
One identical feature in all properties, their music is the same.
