Placement spot for google adsense banner
Browsing the net yesterday, I discovered why my google adsense was not yielding maximum results. The spot I had allocated has not been generating impressive revenue.
Had slotted my google adsense banner on the right of detailed page with the left side preserved for the introduction of a story.
Just discovered most bloggers in India allocate google banners just below the headline with some using the story intro on the right side of the banner while others start their story below the banner.
I tested numerous blogs that use such approach and realised that as a reader you’re bound to click on the banner immediately on opening the detailed page of any story that you maybe reading as a result.
Which means all blogs with banners below the headline of stories received lots of click thru as opposed to those displaying their banners elsewhere.
Am about to experiment with my discovery and sure its going to improve my revenue.
